Set of 4 MR10 lounge white leather chairs designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, 1980s The "Weissenhof Chair", also known as the MR 10, was designed in 1927 by the German-American architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969). Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is considered one of the most important modernist architects. His most important projects include the multi-family houses in the Weissenhof settlement in Stuttgart, the German pavilion for the 1929 World Exhibition in Barcelona, & the Villa Tugendhat in Brno. the cantilever chair dates from the 1980s. Chrome-plated tubular steel frame, seat & backrest made of thick, white-colored leather. Immaculate condition. Leather parts with slight signs of wear, but without deep scratches & without open seams.
