On offer here is one of the most iconic designs in all of Scandinavian Modern. This wonderful, minimalistic design by Nils Jonsson for Hugo Troeds in Sweden is from one of the earlier production-runs in the 1950's, making it a rarer variant in the popular 'Bra Bohag' series of the 1950's & 60's. With solid wood construction & its extra low profile, this design has become one of the most timeless & desirable pieces of the mid-century design era. Not only has this classic piece been well preserved, but we have fully restored it both inside & out, with barely any traces of use remaining. As such, this piece finds itself in near-new condition, with a vibrant & natural finish to showcase the incredible figuring in the rich & textured Teak woodgrain. The internal shelves are fully adjustable & the top drawer features a cutlery divider with felt lining, in the traditional Scandinavian style.
