Impressive 1970s Large KIENZLE Germany Office Station Clock! This XL timepiece is really a eyecatcher for your industrial designed home! It is from the "Chronoquartz Design" series, which was launched by Kienzle in 1974. Good readable black dial with white numbers in a bold 70s typical typeface. The metal frame is red coated, the acrylic glass has a thick chrome plated frame. Represents perfect the Functionalism - Modernist - Industrial style. With a touch of Space Age. On picture 9 you can see it in my Kienzle catalog from 1974. in very great condition! For collectors - or your wall. MODEL: Original KIENZLE DESIGN Chronoquarz office station school wall clock Made in Germany MOVEMENT: Original KIENZLE W713 Quartz, with Start/Stop Made in Germany Works worldwide with a standard C-size LR14 Battery MATERIAL: Metal frame, red coated Matte black front with white hour marks in a bold sans serife typeface & minute scale, good readable from large distance Straight metal hands in white & as color accent a filigree bright red second hand The dial is covered by a plane acrylic glass, framed by a chrome plated metal ring Integrated hanger on backside CONDITION: Optical in very good condition! Only small signs from use on the frame, few color chips, mainly on the upper side (picture 7) Overall really great condition for this age! Of course the original! KIENZLE movement is in excellent working order & keeps the time exactly. All movements of my clocks are tested by me for some weeks.
