Here I offer you an extraordinary Art Deco desk lamp. The design language is clear, this is Art Deco. The problem is identifying the lamp accurately. My research has revealed (that's how it is said) that this is a studio or pilot series sample of the 2000 table & desk lamp, designed by Max Schumacher in the late 1920. After the lamp 2000 by Schumacher went into industrial production, it became a true design classic of the 20th century. But as stated: This is a studio or pilot series sample of the 2000 table & desk lamp. & that means that it differs significantly in some features from the 2000 table lamp we know today. For example: Lamp dome & lampshade that cannot yet be tilted. A cast iron plate is simply mounted without markings. Initially two-armed, later three-armed umbrella support.
