On offer here is an absolute masterpiece in Danish Mid-Century design, in this 1960's Coffee Table in stunning Jacaranda Rosewood by Johannes Andersen for Nya Møbelfabrik. The table features all the typical hallmarks of Andersen's table designs, including well balanced proportions, added features & functionality, & beautiful, flowing curves to satiate the eyes. Both ends of the table feature an extendable black laminate tray (for items that could damage the tabletop) which simply disappear below the main tabletop when not being used, once again showcasing the enhanced functionality that was central to Andersen's design philosophy. We have now fully restored this remarkable table, including an intensive re-finishing process to recreate a natural yet durable finish, in order to showcase & protect the vibrant Jacaranda Woodgrain for many years to come.
