Kienzle produced the legendary World Time clock - which was designed in 1938 by Heinrich Möller - from 1938 till the 1980s years in similar designs with little variation. Since the 1970s it was available in three sizes. This one is the small size. A stunning timepiece with solid brushed brass frame & stand. On front a fine detailed world map & time zones in dark brown on a circular brushed metal plate. The clock shows you the time in any part of the world with the time-scale. This scale is divided in day & night sectors. in very good condition & full working! For collectors - or your table. Only minimal signs from use & age, less patina spots. The acrylic dome looks nearly like new & was cleaned from inside! Naturally the original Kienzle movement is in perfect working order! Also the world-time-scale works. All movements of my clocks are tested for some weeks.
