Vintage ruby red set of four wine glasses by Luminarc Cavalier of France. Also known as Luminarc Arcoroc Glassware. Each glass has the company's trademark of FRANCE impressed in the clear glass pedestal base in tiny capital letters. Barrel shaped ruby red bodies with clear glass round bases. This glasses are part of the Cavalier Ruby Red pattern produced by J.G. Durand of Verrerie Cristallerie dArques of France in the 1970s. Each glass has a lovely weight to it & sits nicely in the hand. The Ruby glass is thick & has a rich colour to it. Use it for special occasions, holiday tables or for everyday enjoyment - Eye catching on your festively decorated table. Its possible & nice to use it with votive candles - a lovely ruby color glow!
