Vintage round lidded toffee/candy tin box, produced by A.S. Wilkin Ltd, Cremona Park, Newcastle, England, in the 1940s, for Cremona & Red Boy Toffes brand. This cute toffee tin has a round shape & the lid has a black & gold silhouette decor, featuring a country scene with the figures of a boy, a little girl & a cat. A gorgeous decor for this sweets box that will add charm & nostalgia to your home. in the bottom is engraved: "Made in England" - "A.S. Wilkin Ltd" - "Makers of Cremona Park" - "Cremona & Red Boy" - "Toffes" This beautiful vintage black/gold silhouette candy/drops/sweets container box is an early tin from a famous factory business that started in 1920. A really adorable collectible item - It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece. A fantastic item with an incredible vintage design. MEASURES Diâmeter: 11 cm Height: 4 cm Weight: 90 g CONDITION The lidded tin box is in good condition & overall it is in fine fettle for the age. There are no dents, but the tin has wear & some scuffs & scratches, particularly on the edges of the lid & to the base. The lid is bright & shiny & the design is in very good condition with almost no flaws, while the box is quite worn. The inner box is completely worn. There is some oxidization but otherwise it is nice & clean. All the outside of the can present wear, with no restoration, but in a way that keeps its charm & give it vintage character - this is it charme, history & nostalgia.
