It is made from solid brass in Tube form with the opening to the bottom. due to hole pattern on the top of the shade the light creates an indirect light option. Very rare & unique design item of the 1970s. Each of this wonderful & rare lights has one socket for E27 bulbs. the shade element can be adjusted horizontal (left & right way). The lights remain in a good all original vintage condition due to the age with normal brass surface patina & slight traces of use. The lights are a full working condition.
