Beautiful Alphabet-Series bowl by one of the finest shapers of all time. Gunnar Nylund worked at Rörstrand from the 1930s until the late 1950s & became their creative head & leader of design. He is one of the most influential European heads of the ceramics design & moved Rörstrand into the modernism. Here we have one of his iconic alphabet-series blue in matte - blue feldspar glaze. The vase is shaped in a phantastic organic way & represents Nylunds work very well. The bowl is stamped factory first & has some patina on the inside. There minimal signs of use on the outside. Very fine piece of Swedish mid-century pottery. Perfect for your collection. This is a vintage item.It has signs of usage, & patina. Please see the images for the condition.
