Vintage Artemide Lamp, Mod. Pallade Design Tetrarch, Design Made in Italy, 70S Ball Retro Ceiling Light

Produktbeschreibung
Here we are dealing with a real design classic: The famous Pallade lamp. A design icon from 1968. Produced by Artemide, design studio Tetrarch. Made from high quality plastic. The lamp is newly wired & technically perfect. It has two minor flaws that I'd definitely like to point out: First, someone once used a light bulb that was too powerful ( I recommend 60w at most for normal light bulbs). As a result, the inner shade is slightly scorched in one place. (Pic3) Second, the slot used to adjust the angle of the lamp when hanging is damaged at the top. This damage appears to be a weakness in the design. (Pic10) During my research, I noticed that it also occurs frequently with other lamps of this type. To prevent the damage from spreading further, I reinforced this area from the inside. The canopy (the small cap that sits just below the ceiling) is not original. But better than none at all. The Pallade lamp only emits its light to the surroundings through the front glass pane. The red ball itself does not light up. The lamp is suitable for setting an atmospheric accent. It is not suitable for illuminating an entire room. The lamp sockets are for E27 European bulbs. condition good vintage condition technically perfect condition The plastic shows slight signs of age & use please read the description carefully measurements diameter : 40 cm/ 15,74 in weight: gr/ lb Brand names only serve the description but are the property of the rightsholders.
