Vintage, handled & lidded, metal tin candy container, with a floral decoration, made in England in the 1950s. This beautifully sweet tin canister has a round shape, with a curved bottom & a cute metal round handle. The background has an adorable pale pink color, speckled with white, & a beautiful floral print Illustration of red/cherry pink tulips, with golden & green leaves & stems. Golden trim on rim (top & base). The lid also features an adorable pale pink color, speckled with white & a golden trim on rim. The large round knob on top & the handle are golden too. The inside of the box & the bottom of the lid are silvery. The bottom of this adorable shabby tin can is golden & is marked: "Container - Made in England". This is a great piece for your decor, to hold coins, photos, stamps or also great for tea storage - It can contain anything you want, This vintage gorgeous candy/drops/sweets container box has a really nice & elegant shape & a decorative floral print vintage decor, that will add charm & nostalgia to your home. It does show an aged patina which adds charming vintage appeal. There are some nicks, small rusted areas, scratches & a few dents that does not detract from it's gorgeousness at all as you can see. Some wear particularly on the knob, top edge & handle. The ball knob on top & the handle have a fade golden color but are securely attached. The lateral zones are in excelent condition, with only some very small wear. Inside of the tin can & in the bottom of the lid, some rusted/oxidate areas & the silver coating was removed part. Its considered clean, but may have residue from use or wear. The bottom is in good condition, with only some rusted areas. The can present some wear, with no restoration, bust in a way that keeps its charm & give it vintage character - this is it charme, history & nostalgia.
