Vintage Italian Tizio Table Lamp by Richard Sapper for Artemide, 1972 This table lamp, model Tizio, was designed in 1972 by Richard Sapper for Artemide in Italy. Introduced in 1972, the lamp features dual counterweights that allow the user to direct the light as they please, & can be adjusted by pulling or pushing with the hand so that it stays in the set position. The arms of the Tizio direct the electricity to the bulb, was an early introduction of the halogen to industry outside of the automotive sector.
