Compact travel set consisting of three pots / cooking jars with lid, made of aluminum. The pots can be stacked inside each other, have a lid & a wood-metal handle. The handle holds all three cans together - so the food is transported safely. The pots / cooking tins serve as cooking & eating vessels at the same time. Such a set is used in the army, but also often used in scouting (camps, camping, hiking, etc.). This type of cookware is mostly made of aluminum because it is light & easy to carry in a tourist backpack. My pot set dates back to the 1960's & according to family tales it has attended more than one wonderful scout camp with a great meal by the blazing fire. If he could talk I'm sure he would tell wonderful interesting stories about Boy Scout adventures. The pots have been used a lot, but are in good used condition, with signs of wear.
