Produktbeschreibung
Rare Antique Villosa Candy Tin (ca. 1900-1920) - Embossed German Collectible, Early 20th Century Metal Box This rare & impressively preserved antique candy tin was produced by Villosa, the renowned German confectionery company founded in 1896. Dating back to the early 1900smost likely between 1900 & 1920this early model predates the more common painted tins from the 1930s to 1960s. Unlike its younger, colorfully printed counterparts, this early piece is unpainted, made entirely of bare metal with an elegant embossed design. The inscription "Nimm Villosa" ("Take Villosa") is raised in the brand's characteristic lettering, lending the piece a strikingly minimalist yet industrial charm that reflects the utilitarian beauty of early 20th-century packaging. A true gem for collectors of antique packaging, early advertising, or German design history. Condition: Good antique condition considering its advanced age. It shows several small dents, light rust, & signs of wear that speak to its authentic, century-old characternothing severe or structurally damaging. Please see photos for detailed impressions. Dimensions: ca. 18 cm (7.1") height, 15 cm (5.9") diameter, 250 g (8.8 oz) weight. Whether displayed on a vintage shelf, in a candy collection, or as a conversation piece in an industrial-styled interior, this tin is a genuine slice of confectionery history. A rare survivor from a time when sweets came in timeless metal keepsakes.
