Carl-Harry Stålhane was the head of Design at Rörstrand in the 1960s following in the footsteps of the departing Gunnar Nylund. Stålhane was a rebellious designer with an incredible eye for color & shape. Stålhane became one of Europe's most iconic shaper & stoneware artist & a leading person in the Scandimodern movement. Here we have a beautiful & rare vase, shaped in Stålhanes inimitable perfectionism. The glaze shows blue,lightblue & white. It is shaped in an organic way & glazed glossy. I like those so much. The vase is in good vintage condition, stamped factory first & signed CHS. Beautiful piece of mid-century pottery. This is a vintage item.It has signs of usage, & patina.
